My name's Sterling Udell; I specialize in the production of dynamic websites and leading-edge map mashups, gadgets and mapplets.
I've been writing code since the fourth grade and, following a degree in mathematics and computer science from Drake University in 1991, have made my living as a software engineer. More recently I've been dividing my time between development and writing: my first book, Beginning Google Maps Mashups, was published in November 2008.
Originally from Wisconsin, I have lived all over the United States – including three years traveling and working full-time in an RV – before moving to my current home in the United Kingdom.
As a freelancer, I'm available for hire on a by-project basis.
